Mesotherapy with glycyrrhizin is effective for acne

A study was conducted to examine the effects of mesotherapy with glycyrrhizin.

The current study compared 108 acne patients in two treatment groups: topical clindamycin gel alone and topical clindamycin gel plus mesotherapy with compound glycyrrhizin.

The results confirmed that a combination of moderate to severe glycyrrhizin infusion mesotherapy treated acne more effectively than clindamycin gel. Mesotherapy protected the patient's skin barrier more effectively and improved skin water loss. Compared to treatment with clindamycin gel alone, combination with mesotherapy suppressed the inflammatory response more effectively and reduced skin damage in acne patients.
