Looking at trends over the span of the past 10 to 20 years, it has recorded negative growth for three consecutive years since 2009 due to the effects of the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. Thanks to the booming inbound demand, it has been positive for eight years in a row until 2019. In 2022, the number of opportunities to go out increased with the easing of restrictions on movement, and the recovery trend in the domestic cosmetics market strengthened following 2021. In addition to showing growth that surpassed that of the previous year, mail-order business continued to grow, surpassing the high growth of the previous year.
