Shiseido Selected as a Stock in the Sustainability Index "DJSI World"

 On December 13, Shiseido Company, Limited announced that it will be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, one of the world's leading sustainability indices, and the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index, which covers the Asia-Pacific region. It was announced that the year was also selected.


The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, analyzes and evaluates corporate activities from the three perspectives of economy, environment, and society, and selects companies with excellent sustainability. It is one of the important indicators for the decision-making of investors interested in corporate social responsibility.

In 2022, about 3,500 to 332 of the world's major companies were selected for DJSI World, and about 600 to 156 major companies in the Asia-Pacific region were selected for DJSI Asia Pacific.


In this year's selection, Shiseido's governance and economic aspects scored high in "Innovation Management" and "Materiality," its environmental aspects included "Environmental Reporting" and "Environmental Policy/Management System," and its social aspects included "Social Report." Got a rating.
