Kindai Kagaku proposes an MS color formula that emphasizes dyeing power and color retention

Kindai Kagaku, an OEM specializing in hair care, is involved in the development and manufacture of a wide range of hair care categories, including hair coloring, perms, hair restorers, shampoos, treatments, and styling products.

By product, cosmetic hair color products accounted for the most at 41%, followed by quasi-drug hair color products at 16%, with hair color products accounting for more than half.

According to Mr. Sho Kuwakino, assistant manager of the East Japan Sales Section of the Sales Department, in recent years, cosmetic hair color products, which are the company's mainstay product, repair hair and treat gray hair at the same time by using it after shampooing. Inquiries about "powder hair color," which is made from powdered natural plants such as fruit, flowers, and leaves, are increasing.

With the deregulation of cosmetics in 2001, we started developing a color treatment that combines HC dyes and basic dyes, and commercialized it in 2007. After that, in 2014, "MS Color Treatment", which is the base of the current prescription, was completed, and succeeded in greatly improving the dyeing power and repair power.

“From 2010 to 2015, the mail-order market for color treatments expanded, and the number of shipments increased significantly as it became generally recognized. Demand for hair care products is increasing, and sales of color treatments that can be easily used at home are growing again.”
