Naris Cosmetics develops lipstick technology that prevents color transfer to masks

Naris Cosmetics has established a lipstick development technology that does not transfer color in order to respond to changes in makeup habits caused by the constant wearing of masks due to the corona crisis. By coating the color layer with a transparent oil layer, it not only prevents color transfer, but also gives the lips a moderate luster.

In the development of cosmetics, it is common to think that the most important thing is to stabilize the finished product so that it can be used until the end without causing any change in the state of the product. It forms a layer on the lips, and the inner layer near the lips is a colored lipstick layer, and the outer layer away from the lips is a transparent oil layer.

As a result, an object that touches the lips adheres only to the transparent oil layer and not to the colored layer, so the colored layer does not adhere to anything that it touches. According to the conventional way of thinking, a state change is a failure in development, but in this research, it is said that the aim was to dare to cause a state change.

Originally, it was developed with the aim of preventing lipstick from fading due to color transfer to the mask or rubbing against the mask, but by creating a transparent oil layer, the lipstick will not lose its moisture and can be applied to the lips appropriately. It also succeeded in giving a glossy feeling. Not only does it keep the lipstick from coming off, but it also moisturizes the more you put it on, giving your lips a plump and glossy look.
