Masks cause women with sensitive skin rough skin about 3 times that for women with normal skin

From May 23 to June 6, Naris Cosmetics conducted a skin awareness survey of 2001 women aged 20 to 59 years nationwide in Korona-ka, a woman with sensitive skin. Many people have been forced to wear masks due to Korona-ka, but it has become clear that wearing masks causes great discomfort and stress, especially for women with sensitive skin.

When asked about their own skin quality, it was 59.8% excluding "normal skin" (29.3%), "I don't know" (9.8%), and "I don't want to answer" (1.1%), which is about 60% of all women. However, he answered that he had "sensitive skin", although the time of symptoms and the part of sensitive skin were different.

By age, only 17.5% of respondents in their early twenties answered that they had "normal skin", and 66.2% answered that they had "some kind of sensitive skin". The highest percentage of respondents who answered that they had the most severe symptoms, "sensitive skin on the face and body," was 23.6%. It was found that as we get older, the percentage of people who say "normal skin" increases, and the percentage of people who say "face and body have sensitive skin" decreases.

Looking at the areas of sensitive skin, the number of women who answered "sensitive skin only on the face" was higher than that of women who answered "sensitive skin only on the body" in all generations, and the average was about 2.5 times. In addition, it was found that the number of women who answered that "the skin is sensitive to the face and body depending on the season and physical condition" is smaller in the younger generation, and tends to increase as the age increases.

Next, when asked about the current frequency of wearing masks on a daily basis, the overwhelming majority of women answered that they wear them 6 to 7 days a week, at 67.3%.

When we asked women who answered that they were wearing a mask to select multiple skins that apply to them when they were wearing masks, the most common answer was "Nothing applies" (27.6%), and there was no change in the skin. A little less than 30% of the women felt it. Other than that, "Itching" (21.9%), "Itching" (20.4%), "Acne / pimples" (19.8%), "Rough skin" (19.3%), etc. It turned out that many women have symptoms that apply.
