The new Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct has expanded its content in response to recent changes in the business environment, such as heightened awareness of human rights, diversity, personal privacy and sustainability of society as a whole. In addition, in order for employees to deepen their understanding and reflect it in their daily activities, in addition to promoting the significance of the code of conduct with a top message, we added links to related rules and Q & A to make the structure clearer and more familiar.

The code of conduct that should be taken in all business activities is composed of five chapters for each employee, customer, business partner, shareholder, and social / global stakeholders. We will translate into 16 languages including Japanese and carry out company-wide training in sequence so that various employees around the world can deepen their understanding and share higher ethical standards.

To achieve this, it is essential for each employee to act in accordance with the code of conduct and gain the trust of employees, customers, business partners, shareholders, and society.

By promoting daily operations with a high sense of ethics, all employees return to the laws of all countries and regions in which they conduct business, internal rules, and the "Shiseido Ethical Code of Conduct" as a principle to be observed. We aim to become the most trusted beauty company in Japan and become an indispensable part of society for the next 150 years and beyond.
