Lion publishes "Plastic Environment Declaration"

On May 9, Lion published the "Lion Group Plastics Environmental Declaration" on its website as a guideline for efforts to recycle plastic resources.

The company group positions "promotion of efforts for a sustainable global environment" as an important issue, and aims to achieve both a sustainable society and business development. Regarding the plastic problem, we have set it as one of the issues to be focused on in "LION Eco Challenge 2050", aiming to minimize the amount of plastic used and to collect and recycle all the plastic used, and solve the problem. Challenge.

By 2030, which is the mid-term goal, we will achieve a petroleum-derived plastic usage rate of 70% or less and a refillable product ratio of 50% or more.

By 2050, which is the final goal, we aim to realize "continuously circulating plastic use" that collects, recycles, and utilizes the plastic resources used in the business.

In the medium- to long-term management strategy frame "Vision 2030" formulated in February 2021, the company group has set "to be a leading company in next-generation healthcare" as a management vision, and "sustainability is important" as one of the management strategies to realize it. "Efforts to tackle issues" was set.

We will continue to contribute to the realization of a "resource-recycling society" with the aim of achieving both a sustainable society and business development.
