Exercise for about 15 minutes and 9 seconds has a positive effect on the mind

Asix Co., Ltd. has studied the effects of sports on mental health with researchers at King's College London in the United Kingdom, and found that exercise of about 15 minutes and 9 seconds has a positive effect on the mind.

We surveyed 57 people from 21 countries who have exercise habits over a three-week period to see how the presence or absence of exercise affects their mental health. In the first week, each person performed regular exercise, stopped exercising in the second week, and exercised again in the third week, and the changes in mental status were measured in chronological order.

As a result, during the period of non-exercise, "confidence" decreased by 20%, "positiveness" decreased by 16%, "energy" decreased by 23%, and "ability to cope with stress" decreased by 22%. An analysis of a total of 10 items that classified mental states showed that the overall score of the participants decreased by an average of 18%, which was 68 points out of 100 when exercising, while exercising. It became clear that lack of exercise reduced the state of mind, such as a decrease to 55 points when resting. When participants returned to their normal exercise habits, they all claimed immediate improvement in their mental condition.

Using our unique system "Mind Uplifter", we analyzed the relationship between exercise time and mental state. It has been found that it can have a positive effect on the condition.
