Nano Egg succeeded in developing the topical CICA ingredient as a cosmetic raw material by nano-encapsulating it with its own technology.

Nano Egg Co., Ltd. focused on the sparingly water-soluble beauty ingredient "Asiaticoside" contained in Centella asiatica extract, and succeeded in nanoencapsulating the industry's first Asiaticoside using its own technology. We have started selling to manufacturers.

Centella asiatica extract, which is attracting attention as a CICA component, contains a glycoside called "asiaticoside" and is said to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, wound healing, and collagen synthesis activity.

However, the current situation is that "Asiaticoside" is difficult to dissolve in water and has a high molecular weight, so it is difficult to achieve the expected beauty effect. We have succeeded in developing "CICAegg®", a raw material for cosmetics, by nanoencapsulating the "Asiaticoside" inside.

This makes it possible to prescribe more powerful than the conventional CICA cosmetics.

In previous studies, the active ingredient "Asiaticoside" contained in Centella asiatica extract is bulky due to the presence of sugar chains, and it has been difficult to penetrate deep into the skin.

Nano Egg succeeded in making spherical micelles with "Asiaticoside" using its own DDS technology and nanoencapsulating it, and the cosmetic raw material "CICA egg ®" was born.

"CICA egg ®" is a unique nano-encapsulated formulation constructed from water-insoluble skin-beautifying ingredients, and has the property of being easily dispersed in both water and oil, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

In addition, the ultra-small size and polyoxyethylene chain on the capsule surface support the development of highly effective formulations with a high penetration effect into the stratum corneum.

By using "CICA egg ®", the active ingredients of skin care products can be penetrated deep into the skin, and skin inflammation and aging care effects such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and sedative effects can be expected.
