JTS responds to water alternative needs with a rich lineup

Water substitute raw materials are attracting attention for adding value to skin care products and hair care products.

Many liquid cosmetics have "water" at the top of the list of all ingredients, but to avoid giving consumers the image that the expected effect on the product is low, we decided to use it as a substitute for water. Interest is growing.

JTS is expanding its lineup of alternative raw materials for water to meet such R & D needs.

Among them, it is said that sales of water substitute raw materials using materials that are popular as beauty ingredients such as "KGK collagen water", "KGK fermented collagen water", and "KGK placenta water" are performing well.

The company also said that inbound demand has disappeared due to the corona disaster, and "inquiries about KGK Coix seed fermented liquid, Sakakibara hot spring water, etc., which are registered with the Chinese INCI name, are increasing." In addition, we have Bulgarian Damask rose water and Izumo aloe vera juice.

Among the raw materials with INCI registration for China, where the number of inquiries is increasing, the sales volume of the "Hyage" series of high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate 1% aqueous solution derived from microbial fermentation is steadily increasing.

Hiage has excellent cost performance such as high quality and low price, and has a system in place to freely customize the type of preservative, its addition amount, and the concentration and molecular weight of sodium hyaluronate. We will introduce it as a hyaluronic acid solution that can meet various needs.

As for new raw materials, we started selling vegetable oil manufactured by indyk, the head office in Spain.

We have a lineup of more than 30 types of oils, from popular oils such as jojoba oil, macadamia nut oil, and avocado oil to oils derived from superfoods such as tiger nuts.

While raw material prices continue to rise worldwide due to soaring labor costs and transportation volumes, with the cooperation of indyk, we will take advantage of the supply merit of being able to provide at a reasonable price and promote the development of the vegetable oil market.
