Farmenstation recycles unused resources

Fermenstation Co., Ltd. and Kanro Co., Ltd., R & D-type startups that build a society that regenerates and circulates unused resources using their own fermentation technology, are using unused resources with the aim of realizing a circular economy for a sustainable society. As an initiative of the regeneration and circulation partnership, we refine ethanol from non-standard candy (shavings, cracks, etc.) discharged from Kanro's factory, and use the ethanol to create the original "mask spray". We have developed "Aroma Spray".

Kanro develops and sells sugar-derived products such as candies and gummies, but as non-standard candies, there are shavings generated during the molding process and cracks and scratches that are not suitable for shipping as final products. The candy is being discharged. Until now, we have been actively working on food loss and promoting the use of non-standard and unsellable candies discharged from factories as feed and fertilizer. Under the Kanro Vision 2030 "Sweeten the Future," which depicts the future image of 2030, we will take the initiative in working on a business with the theme of "sustainable" as a "future design business," which will lead to the recycling of resources. While considering the above, we came to co-creation with Farmen Station, which is engaged in product development and business that upcycles unused resources based on our original fermentation technology.
