2021 hair care market, high added value and environmental consideration are the points

 Fuji Keizai expects the size of the hair care market in 2021 to be 592.5 billion yen, up 2.7% from the previous year.


In the hair care market, new brands that appealed to botanicals have been introduced one after another since 2015, and high-priced products with a bottle unit price of over 1000 yen have been performing well, but in 2020, the beauty salon will be closed due to the influence of the new corona. Due to the demand for hair color at home and the increase in time spent at home, the time spent on hair care has increased, and the demand for special care items such as out bath treatments has increased.


It is said that high-priced brands performed better than usual due to such heightened awareness of care.
