Capital investment in the cosmetics manufacturing industry is on the rise-movements with an eye on after-corona

Capital investment by large companies in FY2020 was declining due to the influence of the corona, but it is said that it is on the rise in FY2021 mainly in the manufacturing industry. In addition, OEM manufacturers have been looking to improve their production facilities in anticipation of after-corona.

According to the Corporate Business Forecast Survey released by the Ministry of Finance, capital investment (including software, excluding land) in the manufacturing industry from April to June 2021 increased by 10.7% from the previous year.

On the other hand, by industry, the chemical industry increased by 23.5%, making it the industry with the second highest contribution to the increase in capital investment in the manufacturing industry, next to the non-ferrous metal manufacturing industry.
