GSI Creos proposes "green pentane diol"

GSI Creos's cosmetics department, which supports the development of cosmetic formulations centered on overseas ingredients from around the world, including Europe and the United States, uses 100% naturally derived pentylene glycol "Green Pentandiol" (France, France). We are focusing on the proposal of Minasolve) and the food-based silicone-free O / W emulsifier series "Symbio Plot" (Dr. Straightmans, Germany).

"Green pentane diol", which the company positions as its main raw material, is a preservative substitute ingredient extracted from sugar cane squeezed residue and corn spikes. "It's becoming more and more" (Taketoshi Kato, Manager of Sales Division, Cosmetics Department), so inquiries are increasing.

At CITE Japan 2017, we announced new data that by using "green pentane diol" as an extraction solvent, the active ingredient can be extracted from chamomile flowers and peppermint leaves, which is almost the same as ethanol (alcohol).
