Regarding biomass films, various films using some biomass raw materials and biomass plastics are being developed in order to reduce the environmental load and the consumption of petroleum, which is a depleting resource.

Specifically, we have realized the biomass conversion of PET film, OPP (biaxially stretched polypropylene), CPP (non-axially stretched polypropylene), and LLDPE (linear polyethylene). In various tests such as printing, filling, and bag making, it was confirmed that the results were almost comparable to those of petroleum-derived films.

Regarding recycled film, chemical recycling is adopted, and hygienic safety has been proven. In addition, after clearing all physical property tests including packaging and filling tests in-house, the product was proposed and new adoption was decided.

In addition, regarding mono-material films, all PP single-material films have been sold in cosmetic puff packages for some time, and the company plans to develop mono-material PET films in the future.
