Kao uses AI to automate logistics facilities and reduce waiting time

 Kao, along with Daiwa House Industry, Aeon Global SCM, Hitachi Logistics, and Toyota Industries, is a publicly-offered project of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In, the proposal of a joint project to improve cargo handling efficiency, distribution efficiency, and energy saving by utilizing an automatic operation forklift equipped with AI in a distribution facility and linking it with truck operation was adopted.

Currently, the labor shortage of truck drivers and forklift operators in the logistics industry is an issue, and it is necessary to save labor in logistics facilities and improve the efficiency of transportation in cooperation between arrival and departure owners.
