 Kao has started sales of "tea catechins" and "chlorogenic acids derived from coffee beans" (polyphenol material) and notification of foods with functional claims through the chemical business division.

The tea catechin material will be sold under the name "Lunaphenon T-100", and the coffee bean-derived chlorogenic acid material will be sold under the name "Lunaphenon C-100".

In the future, we will maximize the synergistic effect with the "Healthia" brand of foods with functional claims by spreading consumer awareness about the functionality of Kao's polyphenol materials.
