POLA Promotes Sustainability Activities Nationwide

 In preparation for the 100th anniversary of its founding in 2029, POLA has established a sustainability policy that aims to create a "connected society where people believe in the possibilities of themselves and society." Activities are being promoted nationwide.


In terms of "society", we aim to eliminate various "barriers" such as gender, age, and regional disparities, increase the number of shop owners with monthly sales of 5 million yen or more to 1,200, and increase the number of collaborations with local governments to 28. , increase the number of shop owners who are recognized as role models in the community to 110, equalize the male-female ratio of career-track employees, promote gender, people with disabilities, and global support, and increase the rate of childcare leave taken by both men and women. The goal is to achieve 100% for both.


In terms of the economy, we aim to create opportunities for a diverse range of people to be healthy and active. The company aims to increase the number of beauty directors in Japan.

In terms of "environment", as actions to pass on the environment to the next generation, we will reduce CO2 emissions to 26% in Scope 1 and 2, provide environmentally friendly services while providing new value, and RSPO certification. The goal is to use 100% palm oil.

In Shizuoka Prefecture, efforts are being made to eliminate the wall of "menstrual poverty" in order to improve the QOL of women.
