Seiwa Kasei Develops New Hair Care Ingredients Derived from Soybeans

 Seiwa Kasei, a research and development manufacturer of raw materials for cosmetics and quasi-drugs, has developed a soybean protein derivative "Soy Heat Guard" (product name: Promois WS) as a new hair care ingredient from the protein hydrolyzate "Promois" series. -HSIGPD) has been successfully developed and sales have started in June this year.


"Soy Heat Guard" is a functional hair care ingredient that has been confirmed to react to the heat of dryers and curling irons and coat each strand of hair, leading to beautiful hair (Heat Active Mechanism). An increasing number of people are concerned about hair damage caused by the heat of hair dryers and curling irons used for hair drying and styling, and the demand for care products such as out-of-bath treatments and hair oils is increasing.
