Shiseido starts a retreat stick project at Makuake

The open innovation program "fibona" led by Shiseido Research Institute has started the "retreat stick" project at "Makuake", a support purchase service for things and experiences.

This time, we selected a stick-shaped cream with excellent portability as a dosage form that allows you to experience "S/ENSE" more familiarly, and applied it to stick-shaped cream formulations with different scents. A total of 4 types of sticks, 2 types of morning and evening base sticks that capture the natural fluctuations of the day, and 2 types of sticks that allow you to feel the changes in the climate in addition to the base sticks, are included in the set. Since it is a retractable type, it can be applied to the skin without staining the fingers.

This product utilizes the Shiseido Research Institute's knowledge that ``if the scent fluctuates, it can be expected to have a more relaxing effect than if it doesn't,'' making it ideal for artificial and stressful environments. You can expect to be able to experience a connection with the natural environment between work and daily life by easily obtaining such a "fluctuation of fragrance".

"Speedy Trial", one of the initiatives of "fibona", introduces the beta version of the technology born from research to the market with a sense of speed, and communicates with more people from the early stages of development. We aim to create innovation with “value” as the starting point.
