L'Oreal Japan launches industry's first upcycling of cosmetologist uniforms

L'Oréal Japan will be the first in the beauty industry to start an upcycling of cosmetologist uniforms from the end of June. Through this initiative, we will reduce waste and CO2 emissions from our business activities and contribute to the transition to a recycling-oriented socio-economy.

The company has incinerated the uniforms of beauty staff who are no longer used due to design changes or retirement, but in the future it will be upcycled as automobile parts in collaboration with Chikuma.
