DIC advances into cosmetics formulation and introduces natural ingredient skin care by the end of the year

 DIC will enter the cosmetics formulation business. Through collaboration with Bio-Venture (VB), we jointly develop active ingredients of natural origin that are promising for skin care applications. The company plans to develop primary processed products that are easy to utilize the dispersion technology cultivated in ink manufacturing as the main battlefield and develop them as base formulations for skin care products. As the first step, we plan to launch a formulation containing the moisturizing ingredient "Sakuran" discovered by VB from a university in Japan this year. We will jointly develop a formulation containing polyol oil with VB in the United States, which has expanded the alliance, and aim to launch it by 2024.
