Shiseido launches team-accompanied beauty program

Shiseido will carry out the company's first team-accompanied beauty program "ONLINE BEAUTY STUDIO" from mid-November by a beauty staff member (BC) who specializes in digital communication.

We will respond to needs that are difficult to meet with conventional in-store customer service alone, such as "I want professional advice every day" and "I want friends who continue to take care of me", through online seminars and LINE chat unique to digital.

In the first program, "4 weeks to experience the glossy ball," after the lesson at the online skin care seminar, skin measurement using ELIXIR's original "glossy ball counseling" will be performed on the smartphone. In addition to receiving advice and beauty information based on skin measurement results via LINE chat every day, it can also be used as a place for participants to exchange information.

During the period, the BC in charge will continue to communicate closely with the participants, and the participants will communicate with each other, aiming to create beautiful skin as a team while responding to customer needs.

Shiseido Interactive Beauty, which was established in July 2021 with the aim of accelerating digital transformation (DX) and innovating the Japanese business model, is not limited to conventional real-life support, but digital communication. We are training BCs that specialize in.

Twenty-five BCs selected by in-house recruitment, after about three months of specialized training, performed live distribution and web counseling on the Shiseido beauty comprehensive site Watashi Plus, developed a dedicated site, and posted on SNS accounts.
